Grinding, Pets, Toys and Taking the Initiative

Cat’s been pretty quiet because she FINALLY overcame her reluctance to killing Saberon for their claws. There she is sitting on her Bristling Hellboar.

I heard her yell, you’re safe now! I am never, EVER coming back … ever.

She does enjoy her new title, she briefly thought of changing her name to George … but then nah. She’ll probably change it back to insane and George the Insane doesn’t have the same ring to it.

She acquired Terky in Borean Tundra and then took him sightseeing. He’s been wonderful. She’s seen him dance quite a few times but unfortunately he usually did it while she was killing Saberon so she was a little distracted.

Must have been the blood lust in old Terky bringing out the dancing. Guess she’ll have to find someone else to pick on to get him dancing again.

Yeah … I think Cat hoped for something more, I don’t know, elegant from her Coin of Many Faces. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.

Yes! Yes, the moment I’ve been waiting for! Thalios gets to meet his doppelganger! Thalios was unimpressed. At present Thalios is pretty unimpressive himself. I was hopeful as he rushed to level 20 but I found out that was only because he had a broom he wanted to ride … since then, nothing.

Cat likes Hallow’s End. REALLY likes it. Some of my characters are more restrained, just one set of decorations. Not Cat, she’s got them all. And Terky, and disguises! Life is good!

There’s only one tiny, tiny, thing. She likes Deluwin, seems like an okay guy. What did he do to deserve this … unfortunate placement.

I Got your Moose Right Here

Cat wanted to talk about how delighted she was to find that Pepe DID ride with her when she flew … but then word of Patch 6.2.3 broke and she didn’t feel like talking anymore. Cat’s used to being kicked in her non-existent nuts but this was the last straw for her.

Like most patches this one means squat all to her because we don’t play the way you’re “supposed” to. That’s fine … our fault, she’s used to that. What sent her over the edge, I mean REALLY over the edge was that the moose would be unattainable for her.

To Cat THE MOOSE is the quintessence of druidness, it is THE Druid mount. She’d hoped it would be obtained by a really annoying, endless grind. But no … out of reach. She has never cared about all the mounts she’ll never have because she doesn’t raid until this … the moose.

She snapped. It’s the only explanation. She’s always been level-headed and somewhat frugal. This pushed her over the edge apparently.

I didn’t get to the AH in time. The deed was done when I ran up to Golothas.

I didn’t dare, she was snarling in Cat Form.

Cat had decided she would declare a NEW epitome of druidhood. Sweet baby Elune, you paid WHAT for that chicken … sorry … Druid Rooster?!!!! Aw Cat … we were saving that, jeez.

CAT! What are you doing anyway? It’s the what? The /rude … um … rooster?

Okay … I’m just going to back away and let her enjoy her Druid … ah … Rooster.

Thank You for the Little Things

Oh calm down, they’re just puppies. What kind of a War Tiger are you anyway. The other day I was with Sasche, she had just reached Tanaan and I was feeling so sorry for her. She doesn’t have money like the Alliance side and I realized she’d also have a hard time putting together a fleet.

I mean she could have all the ships but the equipment was going to be hard to get. I don’t even see groups for the Savage Whale Shark in custom groups anymore. Poor Sasche, once again she’s missing out.

I checked the equipment vendor to remember who she’d have to kill to get what. WHAT! Sasche has them all! Yay! Somewhere along the way they must have made them account wide. This is wonderful! For once Sasche’s not getting the shaft.

Things like that make my day. I thought about it and realized there had been other little things. Cat is sitting up there on a Black War Tiger, something that’s purchased with honor points and she doesn’t PvP. She’s on a push to try to get at least close to 250 mounts. I was SO pleased to get enough honor through garrison missions that she was able to purchase all five of the black war mounts.

So just thank you … um … Lead Little Things Designer … Lead Quality of Life Designer? Lead Soothing the Nerd Rage Designer? I don’t know but whoever you are, could you do something about RNG thank you.
